The position of this presser foot can be switched between the left and right side of the needle, allowing for perfect alignment of pieces such as zippers.
By loosening the screw at the back and sliding the presser foot to either the left or right, you can use either the right or left needle hole of this presser foot. This enables it to sew either the left or the right side of the zipper.
